Beat Swing “EXCITING FLIGHT”

H ZETTRIO—a piano trio known for making audiences laugh and dance—embarked on a jazz club tour for the first time in about eight years, made possible by the return of intimate, close-range live performances. Reflecting this evolution, they titled their eighth original album *Beat Swing*.
True to its name, the title track "Beat Swing"—released in January 2022—features a lighthearted piano riff as its core hook and a happy, swinging beat; it has dominated the top spots on various domestic jazz streaming charts (including iTunes and Apple Music).
The album features a diverse collection of songs released between January and December 2022, all remastered to achieve an even more refined acoustic sound. Highlights include "Wolf" (a rearranged version of a hidden gem from their predecessor band), "SUPER MAD MAX" (evoking the soundtrack of a spy action movie), "Rainbows everywhere" (inspired by the rainbow-friendly town of Shizukuishi), and "DAN DA DAN ~Nikujiru Juicy~" (a tie-in song with a rapidly expanding nationwide gyoza chain). It also includes the first-ever recording of "Honoo no Improvisation" (Improvisation of Flame), a track composed collaboratively by all three members that serves as a prologue-like opening.

As with previous albums, two editions are being released simultaneously, each featuring bonus tracks centered around the "Beat Swing" theme. The "EXCITING FLIGHT" edition includes a remix created by H ZETT M himself, while the "DYNAMIC FLIGHT" edition features a high-energy live recording from their March 2023 concert at LINE CUBE SHIBUYA.
H ZETTRIO charges forward with overwhelming power that belies their cool appearance.
They continue their unprecedented, high-speed release schedule—dropping a new song on the first of every month—and are set to reach the milestone of 60 consecutive months of releases in December 2023. Having finally emerged from the tunnel of the pandemic, a miracle seems poised to visit the ensemble born of the bond between the three of them.
