QUESTUNE

Their 11th original album, *QUESTUNE*, is built around the concept of a "QUEST MAP" (a sonic map of exploration); it documents the trio's journey as they treat music itself as a map while constantly seeking out their next groove.

It is an "evolving map of exploration" that vividly captures the tension between improvisation and structure, impulse and design. While respecting the historical lineage of the jazz trio format, the album presents the potential for its evolution in the here and now, marking a new coordinate within the context of Japanese instrumental music.
